Sending Tea Invitations

Choosing your wording and paper are of the most importance since this is your first chance to grab the guest's attention and excitement. People enjoy opening beautifully worded invitations enclosed in a personally addressed envelope. Our world today is much too rushed and people have come to cherish the extra effort involved in a properly worded invitation. Aside from wedding invitations proper wording of an invitation is almost obsolete. A proper invitation will educate guests as to what to expect and prepare for, not just to tell them the time and place. Perhaps you want your guests to bring their favorite tea cup or wear a hat. This information needs to be communicated clearly in the invitation so as to avoid any embarrassing moments for you or your guests. Below are some wording suggestions for tea invitations.

Tea Invitation Examples:

Dear Friend, please join us
In the seasonal blessing adorned with the
Traditional delicacies of an afternoon tea
In appreciation of the memories we've shared,
Filled with laughter of today and
Delight in the years to come.
We look forward to a wonderful afternoon
Sharing in your company

If you are cold, tea will warm you
if you are too heated, it will cool you
if you are depressed, it will cheer you
if you are exhausted, it will calm you
Please join me for a private tea for you and me

My copper kettle
whistles merrily
and signals that
it is time for tea.
